Looking for friends
This is the story of a naughty pair of scissors. Her name is Cutty. She is naughty because wherever she goes, she scares people. One day, walking down the street, she meets Penny the Pencil. He is drawing and Cutty says:
Cutty: fee, fae, foo, I want to cut you!
Penny: Oh, please, don't cut me!
Then, Penny goes home crying and very scared, but Cutty is very happy. After that, she meets Rubby the Rubber. She is erasing and Cutty says:
Cutty: Fee, fae, foo, I want to cut you!
Rubby: Oh, please, don't cut me!
Again, Cutty is very happy because she scared another girl. Rubby leaves and goes home crying and very scared.
Cutty keeps walking and, as she doesn't find any child down the street, she decides to go to the park. There she finds they Crying Crayons. They are 4 brothers and are always crying so Cutty just says:
Cutty: Fee, fae, foo...
Crying Crayons: buahhhhh...!!
And they leave crying so loud your ears would hurt. Cutty is getting bored because she doesn't meet anyone. Suddenly she bumps into Piper the Paper. Cutty says:
Cutty: Fee, fae, foo, I want to cut you!
Piper: Oh, please, don't cut me! You are not going to make me run and cry. Come with me if you dare!
Cutty insists and says once more and louder:
Cutty: Fee, fae, foo, I want to cut you!!!!
Piper: Oh, please, don't scream at me!!
Then, Piper leaves and Cutty follows him to find out why isn't he crying. They go to Piper's house and the Nanny Notebook is there. She asks Piper what is happening and Piper explains everything. Nanny asks Cutty why she behaves so badly and Cutty starts crying. She says nobody loves her and no one wants to play with her. Nanny tells her that what she is doing is wrong and she has to behave well and not scare people, this way they would like her and love her for sure. As Cutty wants to cut, Nanny proposes a deal:
Nanny: Look girl, if you go out there and gather every kid, I let you cut some of my hair (which are papers) and you can make a handicraft, but remember to say you are sorry to everyone!
Cutty: Ok, I am going to try...Piper, can you come with me?
Piper: Sure I can!
And out they go. They first go to Penny's the Pencil house.
Cutty: Hello, Penny!
Penny: Oh, please, don't cut me!
Cutty: No, I won't cut you. I am here to tell you I'm sorry and to ask you for help. Can you come with me?
Penny: Sure I can!
After that, the three of them go to Rubby's the Rubber house.
Cutty: Hello, Rubby!
Rubby: Oh, please, don't cut me!
Cutty: No, I won't cut you. I am here to tell you I'm sorry and to ask you for help. Can you come with me?
Rubby: Sure I can!
Then, the four of them go to the Crying Crayons' house.
Cutty: Hello, Crying Crayons!
Crying Crayons: Oh, please, don't.... (they start crying)
Cutty: No, I won't cut you. I am here to tell you I'm sorry and to ask you for help. Can you stop crying and come with me?
Crying Crayons: Sure we can!
Finally, the eight of them go to Piper's house again to meet Nanny. She explains them the deal and they accept it. They start working and...do you know what they did? No? Look! A backpack!
This way, they get into they backpack and play altogether. Cutty is very happy and she won't scare people any more!
Espero que os guste y que os sea útil. See you soon!
